Privacy Policy

BGixTech Integration Solutions ("BGixTech", "we", "us", or "our") provides custom software, system integration, and application development services. This Privacy Policy applies to bgixtech.com and any subdomains (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what's created automatically as you browse, and what we may generate if you create an account in the future.

Information you provide directly

• Consultation requests: name, email address, phone number, company name, project type, and the message you write, submitted through the consultation form.
• Newsletter subscription: the email address you enter in the footer sign-up form.
• Account information (if applicable): should we launch account-based features, we would collect an email address and any profile details you choose to add, via our authentication provider.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) generated by our hosting provider.
• A single local-storage entry recording your cookie preferences (see Section 4) — this is not a tracking cookie and is not sent to our servers.
• If you opt in to analytics cookies, we may in the future collect aggregated usage data such as pages viewed and time on site. As of this policy's last update, no analytics service is active on the Site.

• To respond to consultation requests and discuss potential projects.
• To send the newsletter updates you've subscribed to, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

The Site uses your browser's local storage — not a tracking cookie — to remember your cookie preference choices so we don't ask again on every visit. We group optional preferences into three categories, each of which you can turn on or off independently:

• Necessary — required for core functionality like submitting the consultation form. These are always active.
• Functional — enable enhanced features and personalization.
• Analytics — would help us understand how the Site is used. Not currently active.
• Marketing — would support advertising measurement. Not currently active.

You can change your choices at any time — this doesn't require finding a hidden settings page:

Separately, if we ever introduce account sign-in, we would set one strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. That cookie is not part of the preference categories above because it's essential to the feature functioning at all.

We rely on a small number of service providers ("sub-processors") to run the Site and our business:

• Supabase — hosts our database and, if enabled, authentication. Consultation requests and newsletter subscriptions are stored here.
• Vercel — hosts and serves the website itself.
• Email delivery (Mailjet, Brevo, or our own mailbox) — used to send transactional notifications, such as alerting our team to a new consultation request. Only one provider is active at a time; the others serve as automatic fallbacks if the primary is unavailable.

Each provider processes data only as needed to perform these functions and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Some pages on this Site (for example, individual app, product, service, or solution pages) may embed a live preview of an application inside an iframe pointing to a third-party or client-operated domain. When you interact with an embedded preview, your interaction happens on that third party's site, subject to their privacy policy and terms, not ours. We choose what we embed but do not control what those third parties do with your interactions.

We keep consultation requests and newsletter subscriptions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain our business records, and comply with legal obligations — or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited operational window before automatic deletion.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), database-level access controls (row-level security restricting who can read or write each table), and least-privilege service credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live — for example under Nigeria's Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR, or California's CCPA/CPRA — you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribing from the newsletter) at any time.
• Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13.

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

BGixTech is based in Nigeria, and the infrastructure we use (Section 5) may store or process data in other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to provide additional notice, such as a note on the Site.
